Stay in
the Pods
A clean bed, salty air, and a place to crash after surf, sunset, and one more drink than planned.
Shared with fellow travelers, surfers, and soon-to-be friends.
Taran Duli Beach is a hostel with 20 earth pods, a beach club,
and a retreat on Duli — one of the least developed beaches in
El Nido, away from the crowds, 30 minutes from town.

Beach Club & Restaurant
Big flavours, cold drinks, good music. Come for lunch after a surf, stay for sunset.
Fresh island plates and classics done with a bit more fire and smoke.
Retreat
A stretch of beach, far from the crowds. Jungle gym, yoga and mobility in the Galaw Lounge, sound baths and rest in the Hilata Lounge.
Move, rest and find your own rhythm.
Explore Duli
The best surf hits Duli between November and March, 40 minutes by motorbike from town. Duli runs 3km long — ride further and Mariposa and Dagmay stretch even longer, or go further still, to remote beaches and villages beyond.
Explore it all, then unwind with a Taran retreat.
Kitchen & Bar
We dedicate the space to our Retreat programs, though the kitchen and bar welcome walk-ins for lunch and early dinner. Tao’s renowned cuisine brings catch-of-the-day and local veg — smoky, tangy, tropical flavors — alongside a short list of fresh shakes and cocktails.
Architecture
Taran Beach Club takes its shape from the tuka, a structure built like an upturned boat, its curved ends turned against the wind. It’s built from bayog bamboo, cured in saltwater the way boatbuilders here always have, so it holds up against pests and rot. The design stays open enough for wind to pass straight through, and sturdy enough to stand through a typhoon. Washed-up island debris finds new life as art throughout the space, from the ground-floor dining bar to the floors above.
Wellness Floor
Galaw Hall is where you move: yoga, mobility work, beach workouts. Hilata Lounge is where you relax: read, hang out, take it slow.
Both are open to you whenever you’re here, on your own time.
We also rent the floor out for retreats and group gatherings.
Surf Hostel
20 pods, built from rammed earth and earth brick, set under the same bamboo roof as the rest of Taran. Clean shared bathrooms, with AC. A simple place to sleep between days on the water.
Twenty sleeping pods face the beach, close enough to hear the waves through the night.
₱1,900 per night.
